GoIndustry-DoveBid provides an easy to use and cost-effective sales channel for corporations, government agencies and financial institutions to list and make available assets to multiple exchange auctions and millions of buyers worldwide. The program offers step-by-step instructions on everything from getting started and managing auctions, to marketing tips and tools that will help sellers maximize their return on their assets.

Unlike other equipment listing services, GoIndustry-DoveBid has introduced ‘Expert Review™’ a process whereby auction experts review and suggest enhancements to listings to help ensure that sellers provide as much descriptive information as possible in order to maximize their return.

For a limited time, there is no fee charged to sellers for using this service.

Step-by-Step Instructions on How To Get Started

Step 1: Creating a Seller’s Account

You must meet the following requirements, before setting up a seller’s account: your company must be able to provide the following:

	The name and phone number of an authorized company representative
	A Billing address
	Email Address

To setup a seller’s account; fill out the web form at http://amp.dovebid.com/. Once you have completed the web form, you will receive a confirmation email with your username and password.

Step 2: Loading Your Assets

Sellers can save time by researching the following asset information before loading their assets. The help tips provided on each page of the asset load process provides valuable tools and tips on how to increase your value received.

Creating a New Catalog

Create a catalog which can be used to group, manage and track selection of assets. You can create as many catalogs as you can like to manage your assets in a way that is useful to you.

Select Your Asset Category

Select the Category & Sub-Category that best matches your asset.

Enter Your Asset Information

Enter a description of your asset providing as much clear, descriptive information as possible. Better described assets will encourage competitive bidding and results in higher selling prices.

Asset Details & Pricing

Enter the asset's physical location, tax rate, and pricing.

Assets can be sold in an auction format with competitive bidding or can be sold for a fixed purchase price.

You can also set a reasonable reserve price to ensure that it is not sold for an amount less than you are willing to accept.

Upload Your Photos

Attach up to 15 photographs of your asset by simply selecting the images from your computer hard drive.

Step 3: Manage Your Online Catalogs

Once you have reviewed your listings, simply submit your assets or complete catalog to Expert ReviewTM to consign into one of our global exchange auctions. View the status of all assets in your catalog: submitted for review, pending sale assignment, or needs to be edited, sold, shipped, paid etc.

Step 4: Sell

Once Expert Review™ has consigned the assets into an exchange auction, you, the seller have an obligation to sell the asset to the winning bidder in the same condition that was stated in the description.

Step 5: Ship & Get Paid

Auction results will be visible to you in your online catalog. We will notify you of the winning bidder when they have made payment to GoIndustry-DoveBid for your assets.

The winning bidder is responsible for contacting you and arranging shipping or pickup. Your are responsible for notifying GoIndustry-DoveBid of shipments and providing proof of such shipment. You can manage multiple shipments to different buyers with ease with the freight manager tool, which allows you to enter and submit key shipping information to GoIndustry-DoveBid.

You or the designated carrier will need to send GoIndustry-DoveBid an electronic copy of the signed Bill of Lading to customerservice@dovebid.com or fax a copy to 650-356-6715. The signed bill of lading must clearly reflect the name of the carrier, the name and signature of the person receiving the assets and the GoIndustry-DoveBid auction invoice number. Once GoIndustry-DoveBid has received and confirmed the shipment, a check will be sent to you within 10 business days.
